A City Of History

Agra Fort

While returning back from Jammu we had to get down at Delhi Station and take Train from there to reach Goa. The train was after 2 days so we decided that will go to Agra to see Taj Mahal and different places.

Agra fort known for its history, a very huge fort and need atleast three hours to see the whole fort. There is a history connected with the fort which our guide told us. He also told us that there was a king who stayed there, where he was punished , a sabji mandi in the fort itself show that they dont go out to buy things.

From the top of the Agra fort we can see the view of Taj Mahal. A beautiful view which I liked the most. I enjoyed the place and came to know some things which i was not knowing.

A Wish In Dargah...

Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah

After watching Bajrangi Bhaijaan movie I told my mummy to take me to this dargah, I thought that the shooting was done in this dargah.

While going to jammu we first stopped at delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station. By 7 clock in the morning we left from there to go to this dargah. After reaching there, we first asked if hindu people are allowed to go inside or not but we were allowed, we all had to cover our heads.

The road to go near the dargah was narrow, and we had to walk a little way to reach the dargah. There are so many small vendors selling flowers, chaadars and other religious offerings for the dargah. The shopkeepers started "keep your Chappals here and take these flowers and other religious things which are offered inside."

When we reached inside there was a huge crowd gathered outside the dargah. Women were not allowed to go inside, so we worshipped from outside and our boys went inside with the flowers, and chaadar. In the plate of religious offering there was a red-yellow colour thread, we saw that the women and some men are tieing them on the walls, gallery and doors of dargah. I had seen that in movies but this time it was real that we have to wish something and tie. We tied it, sat for sometime and returned back to the station.

Experienced something different in my life,Which I used to watch on Television.

Long Way To Katra

Mata Vaishnodevi

After my mummy came visiting the temple and showed me the pictures I was very excited to visit the place and then Atlast after 2 years she took me to Katra.

A place where we have to walk kilometers to reach the temple. We all had decided that we will not go by walking so long way. There were Helicopter services to reach up near the temple. We had already booked from Goa itself, as we were walking to reach near the helipad looking at people and their childrens with them going walking and singing songs of Mata with lot of energy inspired all of us and we decided if they can walk then why not we. Even Horses and palki service were dropping people after reaching 13 kilometre because more up they were not allowed.

By 9 clock in the morning we started to walk it was 17 kilometer hilly way from down to reach up near the temple. While walking the sticks of 20 rupees were given to us and that stick while returning down we had to give them back and take our money back. On the way while walking their were lot many shops on the way if we are hungry than we can take something and eat as it was long way to walk.

We reached in the temple at 5:00 pm in the evening, eight hours we walked up and it was just unbelievable moment. As we all were tired of walking we decided that will not walk more and  take horse service to come down. By 10:30 pm in the night we reached down.

First time in our life we walked so much it was life time experience ever had.

Peaceful Worship At Amritsar

GOLDEN TEMPLE AMRITSAR

Awesome temple known for its beautiful monument. Over thousand of people worship this temple everyday and take holy bath in the shrine. This place is the holiest of Sikhism community. When we went there at night time we were lucky to get the golden palki  and touch it, after that prasad was served to all the people it was just yummy and sweet.

It is a place where we can seat and keep our mind peacefully. All  men and women are treated equally and all of them volunteer and work for the temple daily. One think which I liked the most and even you'll like looking for the people how they work and volunteer in different activities in the temple. Some people feel ashamed to do work like keeping the visitors footwear properly, but the Sikh people willingly take our footwear in their hands and are kept safe. The Sikh womens keeps an eye on each and every people visiting the temple and see that they respect their culture by covering head.

Next day in the afternoon we went in the temple to have lunch which is called "LANGAR" where women play a important role in the preparation of meals it has a mega kitchen, and the children help in serving the food to the people. Thousands people everday have food in the langar, the food is very yummy rice, dal, bhaji, roti and one sweet dish like kheer.

It is an unbelievable monument which I have ever seen.
